Bennett and Perkins have recorded two albums that are available to stream or purchase.

House on Fire

“House on Fire” is a collection of original songs and a natural continuation of their music from their first CD “The Kitchen Music Sessions” released in 2010.

“House on Fire” was produced and recorded in Eaton, NH at Top of the Hill Studio by Tom Dean and features additional performances by Tom Yoder (mandolin), Joyce Andersen (fiddle) and Tom Dean (percussion, mandola and bass).

While most of the compilation consists of songs written by Bennett & Perkins, it also features a song written by Maine bluegrass musician Ted DeMille; and a New Hampshire reworking of Townes Van Zandt’s, “Colorado Girl,” retooled as “White Mountain Girl.” Many of the pairs’ original song lyrics feature real life stories from the north country of New Hampshire, telling of lost lives, lost loves and real life adventures.

The Kitchen Music Sessions

The Kitchen Music Sessions is a collaboration between two powerful performers – Kathy Bennett and Thom Perkins. The harmonies that come so naturally blend into well crafted frequently haunting renditions of these carefully selected songs. This CD was recorded at the Langdon Brook Studio, Stow, ME. Thanks to Davey Armstrong for his musical genius in helping us record this CD.
